Titan Tax Strategy is a full-service tax and accounting firm built by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs. We help business owners save on taxes, manage their accounting, understand their finances, and make smarter business decisions. Our services include proactive tax planning, business and personal tax preparation, monthly bookkeeping, payroll management, financial reviews, and ongoing support throughout the year.Think of us as your entire tax and accounting team, all working together under one roof.
We're business owners ourselves, and that changes how we approach everything. We've bought businesses, invested in real estate, managed operations, navigated financial challenges, and implemented tax strategies within our own companies, so we know what it actually means to grow a business and save money. Also, traditional firms typically only focus on compliance: tax preparation.Instead of simply recording what happened or preparing your taxes at the end of the year, we work proactively to identify opportunities, help you make better decisions, and put strategies into action. We're not here to just tell you what you owe. We're here to help you plan ahead.
We only work with entrepreneurs and business owners who take their business growth and taxes seriously. We do not work with business owners solely looking to file during tax time. Our ideal clients want to grow, understand where their money is going, pay only the taxes they're legally required to pay, and invest in an experienced team of professionals to help them make important financial decisions. We're not necessarily the right fit for someone who only wants the cheapest possible tax return. We're built for business owners who see the value in having a proactive team involved throughout the year.
Yes. Titan Tax Strategy is led by Enrolled Agents. We also have CPA's, tax attorney's, and other financial professionals on the team. We're also entrepreneurs who have firsthand experience owning, operating, acquiring, and investing in businesses. That combination of professional tax & accounting expertise and real-world business experience is central to how we work with clients.
We get it. There are about a thousand different titles in the accounting and tax industry, and it can be confusing to understand who's actually qualified to help you. Here's the simple breakdown:Enrolled Agent (EA): A federally licensed tax professional who specializes in taxation and is authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS, including audits, collections, and appeals.Certified Public Accountant (CPA): A state-licensed accounting professional who may specialize in taxes, financial reporting, auditing, or other accounting services.Accountant: A broad title for someone who works with financial records, reporting, and accounting. The title alone doesn't necessarily indicate a professional license.Tax Accountant: Generally, an accountant who focuses on taxes. It's a description of their work, not a separate professional license.Tax Preparer: Someone who prepares and files tax returns. Paid federal tax preparers generally need an IRS-issued preparer tax identification number (PTIN), but not all hold professional credentials.
So, which one is best for your business? The title matters, but the experience behind it matters even more.At Titan Tax Strategy, we're led by Enrolled Agents who are also entrepreneurs. We've owned businesses, invested in deals, navigated financial challenges, and implemented tax strategies ourselves. We don't believe your advisor should just understand tax laws. They should understand what it's like to actually run a business.Because there's a big difference between knowing the rules and knowing how to apply them in the real world.
Tax preparation is about reporting what already happened.Tax strategy is about planning what happens next.A traditional tax preparer generally reviews your income, expenses, and tax documents after the year has ended and prepares your return.Tax strategy happens throughout the year. We look at how your business operates, how you're earning and spending money, and what opportunities may exist to legally reduce your tax liability. When tax time comes, you get to see savings. The goal isn't just to file your taxes correctly. It's to make better decisions before the year is over
That's one of our primary goals. We review your business structure, income, expenses, and financial situation to identify legitimate tax-saving opportunities that may have been overlooked.Depending on your circumstances, that might involve entity structure, owner compensation, retirement planning considerations, deductions, timing of expenses, or other strategies permitted under current tax law.We also help with implementation because identifying a strategy is only half the battle.Every business is different, so we don't promise a specific amount of savings. Our job is to help you understand and take advantage of the opportunities available to you.
Yes. We handle both business and individual income tax preparation. For business owners, your personal and business finances are often closely connected. Having one team working on both helps us understand the bigger picture and coordinate your tax planning and reporting.Instead of working with separate professionals who may not communicate with one another, you have one team that understands your overall tax situation.
Absolutely. One of the most frustrating things about owning a business is getting hit with an unexpected tax bill.We help estimate your tax obligations throughout the year based on your income, business activity, and available financial information. As your business changes, we can revisit those estimates and help you plan accordingly. The goal is to reduce surprises and help you understand what you should be setting aside for taxes.
Yes. In fact, reviewing your previous tax returns is often one of the first things we do when evaluating a prospective client. We look for potential missed opportunities, inconsistencies, and areas where better planning could make a difference going forward. When appropriate, we can also evaluate whether prior-year returns may need to be amended.
Yes. Monthly bookkeeping is part of our full-service approach. We help maintain your financial records, categorize transactions, reconcile accounts, and keep your books organized. But we believe bookkeeping should do more than keep you compliant.Accurate, current financial records help you understand whether your business is actually profitable, where your money is going, and which decisions may need your attention. We want your books to be useful, not just something you hand to your accountant once a year.
Absolutely. This is one of the most valuable parts of having an ongoing accounting relationship. We review financial information to help you understand your revenue, expenses, profitability, and overall financial performance. For example, you might have a growing business with strong sales but very little cash left at the end of the month. We want to help you understand why that's happening, what the numbers are telling you, and what you may be able to do differently.
Yes. Our package helps business owners with payroll setup and ongoing payroll management. Our goal is to simplify another important part of operating your business and make sure payroll information stays connected to your accounting and tax planning.
A CFO, or Chief Financial Officer, helps a business understand its financial position and make informed financial decisions.CFO advisory brings some of that financial guidance to business owners without necessarily hiring a full-time CFO.This can include reviewing profitability, budgeting, cash flow, forecasting, and evaluating the financial impact of important business decisions. Not every business needs the same level of CFO support. We include financial reviews and proactive guidance in our ongoing relationships, with more advanced CFO advisory available based on the business's needs and scope of engagement.
Yes. We can help business owners better understand how money moves through their companies and plan for future financial needs. That might include reviewing operating expenses, identifying cash flow pressures, developing budgets, or forecasting how a major decision could affect profitability. For example, before hiring additional employees, purchasing equipment, or expanding your business, it's helpful to understand the financial impact. We want you making those decisions with a clear picture of your numbers instead of guessing.Advanced modeling and ongoing CFO projects may be scoped separately depending on complexity.
Definitely not. That's actually one of the reasons we built Titan. We believe tax and accounting professionals should be involved throughout the year, not just when it's time to prepare a return. Our ongoing relationships include quarterly meetings, financial reviews, tax planning, and support as questions and opportunities come up.Because the biggest opportunities to make a difference often happen long before tax season begins.
Our quarterly meetings are an opportunity to review where your business stands and where it's going.Depending on your situation, we'll discuss financial performance, tax projections, business changes, opportunities for improvement, and any strategies we're working to implement. We also want to hear what's happening in your business. Are you planning to hire? Expand? Buy equipment? Open another location? Make a significant investment? Those decisions can affect both your finances and taxes, and we want to be part of the conversation early.
Yes, and we encourage it.One of our biggest frustrations with traditional accounting relationships is that business owners often make major decisions without consulting their tax or financial professionals until afterward. We want you to feel comfortable bringing us questions before you act.Whether you're considering a large purchase, changing your compensation, hiring employees, or expanding your operations, we can help you evaluate the tax and financial implications.Certain complex transactions or specialized engagements may require additional analysis or a separate scope of services.
Yes. That's a big part of what makes our approach different. We've seen plenty of situations where business owners receive a long list of recommendations but have no idea what to do next.We don't believe a strategy is valuable simply because it sounds good on paper. When we recommend an appropriate strategy, we help you understand the steps involved, coordinate implementation within our scope, and monitor the results. Some strategies require additional professionals, such as attorneys or financial advisors, and we'll explain when that's necessary. Our goal is to turn planning into action.
Our full-service relationships are designed to bring your tax planning, tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll management, and ongoing financial guidance together.Instead of constantly passing information between multiple providers, you have one team working with a more complete understanding of your business. That makes it easier to keep your finances organized and coordinate decisions throughout the year.
We primarily work with business owners through ongoing service relationships.Rather than only preparing a tax return once a year, we bring together the tax, accounting, and advisory services your business needs throughout the year. The exact scope depends on your business, its complexity, and the level of support you need.During our assessment, we'll review your situation and explain what working together would look like.
Our fees depend on your business's needs, complexity, and the services included in your engagement. We believe in understanding your situation before recommending a service package.During your initial assessment, we'll discuss your business, the challenges you're facing, and the opportunities we see.If you're a good fit, we'll explain the recommended scope and pricing before you make a decision.
Not necessarily to have an initial conversation. We can review your current situation and help you understand what may be missing from your existing tax and accounting relationship. If you decide to move forward with a full-service engagement, we'll discuss which responsibilities Titan would take over and coordinate the transition. The goal is to make the process as straightforward as possible.
Yes. Enrolled Agents have federal tax practice rights, and we can work remotely with qualifying clients in different states. However, tax requirements vary by state and certain services may depend on your location and circumstances. We'll confirm that your needs fall within our service capabilities during the assessment.
It starts with our Free Tax Assessment. We'll learn about your business, review relevant financial and tax information, and look for opportunities where proactive planning or better accounting support could make a difference. We'll also talk about your goals, challenges, and what you're looking for in an ongoing relationship. If we believe we're a good fit, we'll walk you through how we can help and what working together would look like.Ready to see what a more proactive tax and accounting relationship could look like?Apply for your Free Tax Assessment today.
